Sawasdee – pronounced Sawatdee

Follow it with Ka if you are a Lady and a man will say Khrap after it.

In full: Sawasdee Khrap or Sawasdee Ka.

I can’t write in thaï, so there is no correct spelling with this, it’s just phonetic.

For a girl=sawa(t)dee khaa
for a boy=sawa(t)dee khrap/khrup(the sound is between the two)

Edit : no there is no correct spelling given that it’s not the same writting. Sawasdee is something they write to give an approximation to foreigners!
