Hey for moment I thought you were talking about Miss Thailand in the beauty contest!! Sorry about that.
I was in the UK quite a long time ago. But, if you are in London or Manchester, there are places that you could go to have fun; besides there are plenty of Thai restaurants and Thai community that you can go to. Try to get in contact with people from the Embassy; they usually have private parties or even the Embassy function like the national days that you can sort of get yourself to be invited.
But, if you’re in the UK for study like I did, I suggest you make the most out of it and try things there. I mean there’re lots and lots of fun things to do in London; try Harrods, Soho, Covent Garden. Get a gang of Thai friends and make Party Gang Kiew Wan Neur… There’s a whole big gang of Thai student called Sammaki Samakum.
Make friends also with British people, they’re very hard to break through but once they are friends, they’re really good friends for life. Open up and enjoy the UK, many people want to go there but don’t have the opportunity. Go see things, spend a little and life there would worth it.

Guess Thai runs in your blood. But I guess uou need not miss it as you can always look for a Thai community to be with in whichever country you may be in.

hey i have the same feeling too. when i got back from thailand, i feel like going back there again…is like i miss the place so much. i even tried applying for a job there and almost wanted to take up tesl so i can teach there but then, i am not english native so too bad…
glad to know there’s someone who feel the same
