Thailand’s kickboxing orangutans
In Thailand, where kickboxing is a popular spectator sport, an unusual show pitting orangutans against each other, has drawn criticism from animal rights activists. The Red Shirt protesters have said they will move their campaign to the seat of Thai political power -Government House. on Monday, tens of thousands gathered outside an army compound in the capital Bangkok. Thailand’s Red Shirts refuse to back down
Sporadic gunfire is still ringing around the Thai captial as the battle of Bangkok drags on. Soldiers are being placed in thousands around an anti-government camp in the heart of the city where at least 10 people have been killed and more than 125 wounded on Friday.
